Proton Runner CLI
Proton Runner CLI is the command-line runner, for servers, containers, and machines without a graphical interface. It shares the same core as Proton Runner: it receives runs, prepares projects, and runs automations the same way.
Install
Requires Node.js 22 or newer. Works on Windows, Linux, and macOS.
npm install -g @atomicsolutions/proton5-cli
Connect
proton config add
The command asks for the server (https://app.protoncloud.com.br), the account identifier, and the
password, checks the credentials, and finds the organization. The password goes to the operating system's secure store,
never to the configuration file.
proton connect
connect starts the runner in the background: closing the terminal doesn't bring the runner down.
In a script or a pipeline, pass everything at once. With --tenant, the organization is included too, for an account
that belongs to more than one:
proton config add --server https://app.protoncloud.com.br --email <identificador> --password <senha> --tenant "<organização>"
Don't leave the password written in the script: read it from a pipeline secret.
Everyday commands
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
proton runner status | Shows the connection, the organization, and the status |
proton watch | Follows runs live |
proton runner stop-run | Stops a run |
proton devices | Lists the Android devices the machine can see |
proton config list | Lists the saved connections |
proton config tenant "<conexão>" --list | Lists the account's organizations |
proton disconnect | Ends the session |
proton start opens an interactive mode, with slash commands such as /status, /runs, and /devices.
Update
npm install -g @atomicsolutions/proton5-cli@latest
Then run proton disconnect and proton connect so the new version takes over.
