Write an output of the open step
PUT/dataset-run/:datasetRunId/set-value
Writes the value of an output parameter in the open step. Following steps that use this output as a
value start receiving it in get-value.
- The parameter must be registered in Proton and linked to the component of the open step.
- The data goes in the URL (
parameterandvalue), not in the body. - The value is decoded twice. Send
encodeURIComponent(encodeURIComponent(value)); with a single encoding,+becomes a space and%causes an error. - Each call writes a new record. Up to 2048 characters per value.
Without an open step, or with a name that does not exist in the organization, the route returns 200
with no body and writes nothing.
Permission: Runs: update.
